The willow awning is taking shape as the years go by. Every year or two, I use a few branches from a willow planted on the south west corner of the propagation greenhouse. They are inserted in a ledger board above the door and bent in a hoop and knitted together to form the framework of an awning frame. Grape vines will be woven into the hoops.
