The south wall was engineered to be cantilevered over the sauna on the south east corner. Note the glue lam embedded above the door framing. Because the sauna was just sitting on blocks on the ground, it couldn't be part of the structure, so I had to build around it and support the south east corner of the house this way. Two beams are embedded in each wall so that the corner supporting the roof was suspended out over the top of the sauna.
