The next development was a few more years down the road - an outdoor sauna/shower/hottub. Now it's roof supports an indoor garden. The original Hobbit House had no bathroom, just a small hand sink I put in the first year and an outhouse - the last one on the Ranch, and still hanging in there. The Sauna originally was a redwood tub, re-fitted and walled in with a skylight...
