The greenhouse is heated by the sun during the day and soil stored heat during the night. The unique SHCS distributes the hot, moist greenhouse air underground throughout the day, cooling and drying it - storing the excess solar gain and moisture in the root zones. The result is a greenhouse that stays above freezing all year in Colorado -30 degree F. winters. Going Concerns Unlimited has used this protoytype SHCS to optimize the design specs for other SHCS's used by greenhouse owner/builders around the country.
