In order to keep the SCHS optimized, the greenhouse should be ventilated minimally to raise the RH and temperature. Doing so, you can suffocate the plants from CO2 deprivation in the colder days when no ventilation is provided. A CO2 generator is often called for - simply an approved propane heater that exhausts into the greenhouse, providing CO2 and water vapor in it's exhaust. When needed, it also doubles as backup heating for the really, really bitter cold nights.
