Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute
Free Standing Greenhouse

The first greenhouse at CRMPI, this is a shed roof wooden framed structure with a SHCS and a single skin cover. Jerome Osentowski was the one of the first to successfully implement a SHCS, and this was his prototype.  His second prototype is attached to his house and can be viewed here.  Many, many more have been built with his guidance. Going Concerns Unlimited currently collaborates with Jerome and CRMPI in the work of popularizing, designing and demonstrating the technique.   Check out the rest of the greenhouses we've collaborated on.
