Stitch the wire through all the holes so that they end up parallel in the barrel bottom. Thread them all as you go, avoiding any kinks. Stainless wire has a nasty habit of becoming extremely brittle after a kink has formed and will break under tension. Just leave big loops as you go and it will be fine. When it is all fed in, loop one end around it's adjacent wire to lock it in place.
