Lay the barrel on it's side, and do a layout for the holes for the screen wire just at the bottom side of the bottom indentation. Check the barrel for oval-ness, and layout the holes on the widest sides of the oval. Two rows of identical markings are required, each on opposite sides of the barrel. Start at the middle and make a mark, then one on each side 1 1/2" to each side. Then slowly increase the spacing on each side so you will end up with all your wires 1 1/2" apart. I just eyeball the marks. This is not rocket science. A little variance is not an issue.
