Double Skin Greenhouse Inflation Blower

Normal procedure in the industry is to inflate double skinned greenhouses with a small electric blower running 24/7. Typical lifetimes of the blowers are 5 years at 24/7 running times. By introducing a one-way valve to the blower output and a low pressure sensing switch, the blower need only run for 2 hours in 24. Mind you, running time savings are only as large as your skin seal is positive! With this system in place and the skins well sealed, the lifetime of the blower then approaches the lifetime of the greenhouse with the added benefit of 1/10th the daily energy cost. The lifetime savings of the system easily pays back the initial cost of the switch - the one-way valve cost is negligible.
