Cinva Block Machine

The Cinva Block was created for "Third World" construction of pressed earth building blocks by Volunteers In Technical Assistance (VITA.org). It is a steel press, operated manually by lever power. Soil is prepared with the right amount of sand and clay and placed into the mold. The machine compresses the block in one stroke of the lever, ejecting it on the return stroke. It can also be used for pressing tile by changing the mold.
